Gault&Millau's review 2026
Gourmet Restaurant
In Alphonse Daudet’s village, this Provençal favorite remains as reliable as ever, serving up delicious regional cuisine for over ten years. Winners of the Gault&Millau award several years ago, the couple has found their stride, offering a well-executed à la carte menu. That day, the menu featured vegetable-stuffed zucchini blossoms with Provençal seasoning and a mozzarella ball at the center, Label Rouge salmon and wild squid, fresh tagliatelle, piquillo pepper cream, and Parmesan shavings; a superb Fontvieille lamb prepared two ways—confit shoulder and sautéed chops—served with mashed potatoes in olive oil, roasted mini zucchini, and tempura-fried zucchini blossoms, a full-bodied lamb jus with red wine and shallots. To finish, a chocolate soufflé or a crème brûlée made with Madagascar vanilla.
