CH. de l’Auche is the name of the second brand—the first being Prestige des Sacres—of the Germiny, Janvry, Rosnay (GJR) cooperative winery, founded in 1961. Sixty cooperative winegrowers contribute their grapes, which are predominantly Meunier. The 40 crus are spread across approximately 100 hectares planted on terroirs composed of clay, marl, sand, and limestone. This diversity of soils allows the cellar master to create blends with minerality and depth. The winery is also committed to sustainable viticulture and organic practices.
