The palate offers a fresh, juicy, gourmet attack, supported by well-integrated bubbles. Its creamy, full-bodied texture is matched by power, balancing dosage, tension and bitters. The pure, persistent finish reveals citrus fruits and a hint of saltiness. This wine is an ideal accompaniment to tuna tataki.

Leclaire-Thiefaine

The Leclaire estate was founded in 1878. In 1991, Reynald Leclaire, a fifth-generation member of the family, married Virginie Thiefaine and renamed the estate after both of them. Constantin, representing the sixth generation, returned to the estate in 2020. He cultivates 4 hectares of vineyards, with a focus on Chardonnay, the flagship grape variety of the Côte des Blancs. Each cuvée is aged in the cellar for at least four years, resulting in a total of six numbered cuvées released in limited quantities.
