Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Founded in 1874 in Chigny-les-Roses by Élie Duménil, the winery is now run by the fifth generation, Frédérique Poret. With the support of her husband, Hugues, she manages this independent estate located in Sacy. The vineyard comprises 8 hectares spread across 30 plots and 3 villages: Chigny-les-Roses, Ludes, and Rilly-la-Montagne. Chardonnay, Meunier, and Pinot Noir are grown in equal proportions, with a focus on sustainable viticulture. The finesse, fruitiness, and roundness of their champagnes reflect a expertise they love to pair with local specialties. Their champagnes are not only enjoyed as an aperitif but also throughout a meal.
