Gault&Millau's review 2019

This Chardonnay perfectly blends an aromatic range of roasted citrus and candied grapefruit zest, with a very savory dimension of Savoy cookie and fresh almonds. The whole is punctuated by a touch of root on aeration. The palate is elegant, deep and chiselled.

Michel Lenique

Led by Alexandre Lenique, this family-owned, independent winery is located in Pierry, a Premier Cru village. From the vineyard to the bottle, its expertise has been passed down since 1768, spanning eight generations. The 6-hectare vineyard, planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier, is spread out around Épernay and throughout the Marne Valley. Old vines and reserve wines bring richness and complexity to the blends. Gentle fermentation, carefully controlled dosage, and aging in a 19th-century cellar allow each cuvée to fully reveal its character.
