Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
While this brand’s bottles are instantly recognizable by the letter “M” printed in red, the Montaudon style is equally distinctive, characterized by a predominance of Pinot grapes in many of its cuvées—particularly in blends where they sometimes account for as much as 80 percent. These grapes are sourced from 350 hectares of terroirs spread across the entire Champagne region, from growers whose vineyard management is overseen by the house’s expert oenologists. This collaborative effort has resulted in a relatively limited range consisting of 9 wines, including one organic option.
