Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
Person may indeed be the name of a family that has cultivated vineyards for seven generations, but it is above all the story of one man, Dominique, to whom we owe the fact that the wine is now vinified and bottled under his own name. From being winegrowers who supplied others, the Persons became producers in their own right, and it wasn’t until 2019 that the estate settled in Épernay. A quarter of a century later, Dominique is delighted to welcome his two sons, Nestor and Léo, who are committed to continuing his geobiology-based approach to viticulture. The vineyards are primarily located in the Vertus terroir for Chardonnay and in Aÿ for Pinot Noir.
