Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
At the entrance to the Marne Valley, in the town of Damery, the Prévoteau-Perrier family carries on the legacy of their illustrious predecessors. In addition to Damery and the surrounding area, Delphine and Christophe own vineyards on the southern slopes of Épernay, in Chouilly, and in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger—areas renowned for their Chardonnay. In total, they have 30 hectares, 22 of which are fully owned and harvested by hand. From this harvest, they produce about ten cuvées, some of which age for between 2 and 5 years, sometimes in oak barrels. This meticulous craftsmanship has recently been passed on to their son, Mathis.
