Gourmet Restaurant
A staple of the Isère region, the Chavant brewery now has three locations, including this superb, traditional restaurant in the Hôtel Mille Pas in the heart of Voiron. Whether before or after a visit to the Chartreuse cellars, guests can come and enjoy the opulent salons of this 19th-century manor house, where Chef Morgan Majenski—formerly sous chef to Paul-Édouard Routhiau—has taken over the kitchen. The menu combines house classics with contemporary offerings: smoked mackerel marinated in beets, horseradish cream and green apple; langoustine ravioli with truffles and foie gras; roasted sea bass fillet with yuzu beurre blanc and fall vegetables; farm-raised pork belly with Chartreuse sauce; and a Dulcey chocolate and pecan dessert.
