Perched on the hills above Grenoble, Maison Aribert (4 toques) is one of the most famous restaurants in the area. Located on the ground floor, Café A rounds out the experience with a reimagined, down-to-earth vibe—a large, cubic space with bare walls and a loft-like atmosphere, offering a rustic menu prepared with skill and care. The menu features pâté en croûte and pickles, “œuf meurette” with Swiss chard, mushrooms, bacon, and wine sauce, trout fillet with Grenoble-style sauce and broccoli purée, Trièves-style poultry with creamy corn, curry popcorn and toasted polenta, and a yogurt cake with poached pear and tarragon. The restaurant also offers other dining options: brunch, summer barbecues, and a tea room!
