Gourmet Restaurant
Christine and Didier Favre’s restaurant is a must-visit stop in this remote corner of the Jura, in the beautiful village of Baume-les-Messieurs. This small inn exudes authenticity and a passion for quality ingredients, which are used to showcase traditional, local cuisine. These are familiar delights you’ll never want to miss: a morel and vin jaune tart, a pan-seared fillet of Burgundy duck, served with a Juramelli-based sauce, a Bresse chicken from Pauline Badin cooked in vin jaune and morels, and an almond tartlet with apricots and verbena ice cream.
