Perched on the hills above Nice, Flavien Fortuné’s little house is a haven of peace, where you can enjoy the garden and the tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of the coast. It’s a secluded and serene spot, a bucolic retreat where time moves more slowly, and where you can discover the region’s diverse character. A “third place” fully in tune with the times, Flavien’s garden serves as a terrace, a restaurant, a vegetable garden, a workshop, a shop, and a concert hall—all in one—where you can linger all day long. The diversity of activities in no way detracts from the quality of the dishes, which beautifully reflect the seasons. Don’t miss this summer’s highlights: the garden tomato salad with basil and burrata, Niçoise stuffed vegetables, ravioli with beef stew, and fresh pasta with Bolognese sauce. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming.
