North of the Arcachon Bay, on the main road through Arès, Arnaud Chartier’s spacious restaurant exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere: plenty of seating, a large dining room, and a pleasant terrace in the summer! The menu features enticing dishes: Joël Dupuch’s warm oysters au gratin with scamorza cheese and Iberian ham; oven-grilled fillet of John Dory with eggplant caviar and tomato tartare; pineapple ketchup with yuzu and cubes of French toast, a pan-seared beef entrecôte with lightly salted butter and baby potatoes with shiitake mushrooms, served with a meat jus seasoned with Java pepper, and a warm Spritz soufflé infused with the freshness of blood orange.
