The Neapolitan-inspired pizzas are as generous as they are delicious. Don’t miss the white pizzas with a mascarpone cream base or the Diavola with spianata, a Calabrian cured meat similar to chorizo. The pasta dishes, never run-of-the-mill, are also outstanding. Don’t miss one of the restaurant’s most popular specialties: the “bomba di gnocchi,” a sort of oven-baked pizza-dough pie filled with expertly prepared gnocchi and served topped with Parma ham and Parmesan. For dessert, you simply can’t pass up the incredibly indulgent tiramisu, nor the mousses and tarts made with seasonal fruits, and other homemade treats of the moment. Not to mention the latest event: the opening of Marcelle Caffè, right next to Marcella, where you’ll find affordable Italian and Mediterranean products for your quick lunchtime meals—to enjoy on-site, take out, or have delivered! Marcella: Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM for pizza and desserts; closed Saturday and Sunday (except for private events).
