Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
The estate cultivates 4 hectares of vineyards spread across 6 lieux-dits in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Having adopted environmentally friendly practices early on, Benoist, his wife Isabelle, and their son Henry obtained organic certification for the estate in 2022. On clay and sandy soils, they cultivate the region’s main grape varieties as well as a significant proportion of heritage varieties: Pinot Gris, Petit Meslier, and Arbane. Winemaking and aging—carried out entirely or partially in oak—along with a 40% proportion of reserve wine, result in a rich and balanced portfolio.
